Isabella, the heir to a noble house, attends a school for well-groomed young women under a "contract" with her father. To her, this beautiful place where white camellias bloom is nothing more than a prison. Having resigned all hope and expectations for her future, Isabella meets her new manners teacher, Violet Evergarden.

KIM Ji-young is an ordinary Korean woman in her 30s who is often distressed by her everyday life as a full-time mom and housewife. Although being married to the man she loves and the struggle of raising a baby girl have forced her to give up on many things, Ji-young believes she is content in life. However, her husband, Dae-hyeon, notices that life is hitting Ji-young harder than she realizes. Worried, Dae-hyeon turns to a psychiatrist saying, “My wife is turning into someone else,” as Ji-young begins to speak strikingly similar to her mother, her best friend who died while giving birth, and her late grandmother.

The film tells the story of Yong-hoo (Park), a martial arts champion who gains divine powers to fight with a powerful evil force. After a tragic childhood, which involved the deaths of his parents, Yong-hoo has harbored deep resentment towards the Almighty.[4] He uses this anger to become a successful MMA fighter.[5] After a bout in the United States, he develops a stigmata, which forces him to seek the help of a Father Ahn (Ahn).[6] The priest, who is an exorcist, sees potential in Yong-hoo after his wound defeated a demon.[4] The two partner to battle demonic activity in Korea.

In this dramatic thriller, Derek Kwok-Cheung Tsang paints a bleak picture of an oppressive society, in the guise of a gripping fairy-tale love story, exposing the dark world of bullying and societal pressures of achievement facing today’s youth.
